It's the first song I wrote with the band. My sister and I are singing, but hopefully, someday, I can incorporate keyboards into the mix so I feel less like a useless pile of vocal cords. HOORAY!

So, words cannot express how lovely it was to see my girls from Perpich this weekend. It was some of the most fun I've had since starting college. Unfortunately, my return to school afterward was all the harder, since I'm (surprisingly) even more socially awkward here at Bethany than I was last year at Perpich. It figures, though, that I'm one of those odd ducks that fits in at neither art school nor Lutheran college. 8D WIN!

At least I have the religion thing down, yes?

But it's all as well anyway. I don't really mind *not* interacting with people here. Paintbrushes and pianos are better buddies than most teenagers. Just saying.

And I probably should have mentioned by now how immeasurably in love I am with the work of Aldous Huxley. So awesome. I'm ashamed not to have found out about him until the last couple of years. Jeez, I suck.
